What we collect, why we collect it, who touches it, and how to make us delete it. Written to be read, not to be survived.

01Who we are

Bishop Systems (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates bishopautomation.com and provides marketing, software and automation services to businesses across the United States. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.

Questions, requests or complaints: [email protected] or (915) 505-0899.

02What we collect

We collect information you give us directly and a small amount automatically.

  • Name and contact details (phone number, email address)
  • Business name, industry and location
  • Messages and enquiries submitted through our forms, chat or by text
  • Purchase and billing details when you buy a product, processed by Stripe (we never see or store your full card number)
  • Standard analytics: pages viewed, referring site, approximate location from IP, device and browser type

03Text messages and calls

SMS consent. By giving us your phone number through our website, a form, our chat, or directly, you agree to receive text messages from Bishop Systems about your enquiry, appointments, service updates, project status, and offers.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. You can also email [email protected] at any time.

Consent to receive marketing texts is never a condition of buying anything from us.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All of the categories above exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. Your phone number is used solely to communicate with you about your enquiry or your services.

04How we use it

  • To answer you and deliver the services you asked for
  • To send appointment reminders and follow-ups
  • To send marketing, where you have consented
  • To take payment and issue receipts
  • To improve the site and our services
  • To meet legal and tax obligations

05Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

We use a small number of processors who handle data on our behalf under their own privacy terms:

  • GoHighLevel, our CRM and messaging platform
  • Stripe, for payments
  • Cloudflare, for hosting and site delivery
  • Google Analytics, for site measurement
  • Meta and Google, for advertising measurement, where their pixels are active

Text messaging opt-in data and consent are excluded from all sharing, including with the processors above, for marketing purposes.

06Cookies and tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies for analytics and advertising measurement. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some parts of the site may not work properly if you do.

We honour Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where your browser sends them.

07Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, to opt out of targeted advertising and the sale or sharing of personal information, and to appeal a decision we make about your request.

These rights exist under laws including the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA, and comparable laws in Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon and Montana, and other states. We apply them to everyone who asks, regardless of state.

To exercise a right, email [email protected] with the subject “Privacy Request”. We will verify your identity and respond within the time the law requires, normally 45 days. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a right.

California residents: we do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, as those terms are defined by the CPRA. We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information for the purpose of inferring characteristics.

08How long we keep it

We keep personal information for as long as we need it to provide the service and to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations, then delete or anonymise it. You may ask for deletion at any time, subject to records we are legally required to keep, such as invoices.

09Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls and reputable processors. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of information transmitted to us.

10Children

Our services are for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.

11Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed. Material changes will be posted here before they take effect.
